After scouring wool is pressed back into packs for transport. GWS has two modes of wool packing; conventional 'farm bale' wool presses, and an 'Autefa' high density wool press. The Autefa press allows more wool to be loaded per truck, reducing the cost of transport and alleviating greenhouse gas emissions from transport.

Autefa press

• Presses the equivalent of 3 greasy bales of wool into the same volume of one bale of wool.
• Presses bales weighing between 300 and 460kg
• Provides improved  operator and transport efficiency
