| A number of by-products arise from the wool scouring process. Woolgrease is an important by-product, as it is has strong economic significance. Surplus woolpacks are another byproduct of the scouring process. After processing, these packs are sold for further use in the agricultural and recycling industry. Mud and dirt are removed from the wastewater stream. These products are currently used to assist in renovating irrigation areas.
